View works from artists from around the world celebrating the life and legacy of Takaya, the lone wolf of the Discovery Islands. Takaya lived alone in this small chain of islands for over seven years, and his life was documented by filmmaker, author and professional photographer Cheryl Alexander.
The inaugural event happened in October 2020, with all proceeds will going towards wolf conservation and efforts to stop the recreational killing of wolves in B.C. The event was sponsored by Eagle Feather Gallery and hosted in the largely open air Nootka Court in downtown Victoria. Pacific Wild was a grateful recipient of $6000 towards our #SaveBCWolves campaign.
