Nayana Rathmalgoda

An artist, speaker, and passionate advocate for wildlife.

Nayana is a BSc PreVeterinary grad, Golden Key International Honor Society member and critically acclaimed artist, entirely self-taught. Together with his late K9, Angel, who saved his life multiple times, his current project is his TEDxTalk which focuses on the illegal wildlife trade.

Nayana is highly passionate about wildlife with wolves being his favourite wild animal since he was four. He uses his art as a tool to effect and inspire social change.

Pacific Wild is a charity I have supported for their work in protecting BC’s Coastal Wolves and the Great Bear
Rainforest, wolves being a subject of my work since I was a child made me naturally drawn to an organisation
that fights to protect them and stop the senseless BC wolf cull. I support Pacific Wild through participating as an
artist in their annual Wild Auction, for which last year I sold the piece titled “Ballad of Takaya” for which 50%
of proceeds went Pacific Wild’s towards it wolf initiatives.
