The Healing Pear began as a creative and metaphysical pursuit by shop owner, creator and curator, Trish Odorico, in 2015, and has been flowing within those realms ever since. We specialize in high quality and carefully designed and curated gemstone adornments to decorate the physical and feed the spiritual. We hope that here you will find a unique piece that carries an energy perfect for you, that inspires you, and that acts as armour for the powerful and unique vessel that carries you.
“When designing, I call on inspiration from the amazing wildlife and habitats around the world, and especially from the many places I’ve been fortunate to call home; from beautiful British Columbia to the dramatic west coast of the Scottish Highlands on the Isle of Skye. I’ve always had an intense interest in the natural world and the great unknown. I’m constantly amazed by this human experience and I want to share little pieces of that with all of you.”

Pacific Wild
5% of all proceeds from The Healing Pear are donated to Pacific Wild. We have utmost respect for this brilliant organization that is working tirelessly to protect the Great Bear Rainforest and the beautiful creatures within. Our love of PW’s mission began in Whistler where we attended a talk by founder, Ian Mcallister. We are so inspired by PW and their commitment to defending wildlife and their habitat on Canada’s Pacific coast.

B.C. author and filmmaker Cheryl Alexander - and longtime supporter of Pacific Wild`s #savebcwolves campaign - announced that Takaya`s coastal sea wolf story has found a place in history in a new UK book `The Wolf: Culture, Nature, Heritage.` The 178-page hardcover book consists of chapters exploring the wolf`s unique position in ecosystems around the world. Takaya`s story is the only Canadian wolf in the book
A new road name also recently showed up on the Port Renfrew loop out of Victoria. Takaya Rd. is right near Shirley, B.C.
Coastal sea wolves are common along the coastline in Sooke, Metchosin and further northwest. Keep your eyes peeled for Pacific Wild`s upcoming exploration of how sea wolves and interior wolves influence their environments later in August! 🐺

Wildfire Wolf - by Anita Utas
This beautiful painting was created by friend of Pacific Wild, Anita Utas. Anita`s paintings inspire us to connect with wild animals as sentient individuals who need our protection. "Wildfire Wolf" was created to raise awareness about the impact of the wildfires on animal populations.
